Activation is coordinated between the university and the local transit authority – including specific fare logic. From the winter semester 24/25, the semester ticket became the digital Deutschlandticket.
Leuphana University Lüneburg has successfully introduced the Germany semester ticket. Thanks to integration into the campus app, students can use their ticket conveniently on their smartphone - without the need for a printout or plastic card.
