That was the Digital Campus 25 in the Hyparschale

The Digital Campus university conference organized by UniNow took place in Magdeburg for the third time. There was a premiere this year: the newly opened Hyparschale could be used as a location and its modern architecture was a perfect fit for the motto of digitalization at universities.

The event has established itself as a central platform for discussing the digital transformation at universities. Once again this year, numerous representatives from universities, administration, politics and business took the opportunity to network, gather ideas and work together on future-proof solutions.

The conference kicked off with two parallel workshops in which there was an interactive exchange on the topics of the student life cycle and innovative functions for university apps. This allowed a wide range of universities to engage in discussions with each other, so that the results could then be presented to all other conference participants.

The main conference focused on practical topics such as the use of artificial intelligence for choosing a course of study, AI tutors as a digital aid and EdTech in the campus context. Specific challenges were discussed and best practices presented in various specialist presentations.

A central aim of the event was to bring together stakeholders from different areas - from IT and administrative staff to teaching staff and university management. The open atmosphere of the Hyparschale and the diverse program created the ideal setting for this.

The Digital Campus Index Award 2025, which UniNow uses to highlight digitalization at German universities, was also presented in the evening. The award recognizes universities that are particularly advanced in the areas of digital teaching, digital administration and digital campus life.
